A comprehensive interview with Spyros Karakitsios, senior researcher at EnvE Lab, on the main environmental health problems that Greece is facing nowadays.

During his interview, Dr. Karakitsios defines the main problems arising from the uncontrollable biomass burning for space heating in major cities of Greece and outlines the effects on PM exposure.

As Dr. Karakitsios thoroughly explains, the assessment of the impact on human health due to exposure to chemical agents is the main environmental problem targeted by the CROME project, a LIFE project based on research taking place in four distinct areas of southern Europe (Greece, Slovenia, Italy and Spain).
